Please join us Sunday morning for the Blessing of the Animals Service at 10:00 am, jointly hosted by First Baptist Church and Park Congregational Church on the First Baptist lawn.
Dogs must be leashed and cats must be in carriers. Cash offerings will be donated to Second Chance Animal Services. Attendees may also donate supplies, such as comforters, blankets, towels, and pet toys for dogs and cats. You do not need to bring a pet to attend the Blessing of the Animals service. Everyone is welcome–not just pet owners or church members.
Second Chance Animal Services will be holding a vaccine and microchip clinic for the congregations and the general public in the FBC parking lot after the service, from 11-2. They will offer rabies and distemper vaccines for dogs and cats at $12/each. If a client would like a three-year rabies certificate, they should bring proof of a previous rabies vaccine. Microchips are available for $20. Cash only.
