Make Music Worcester at FBC – June 21

3 – 4 pm in the Sanctuary, Carlos Odria

Solo guitar – instrumental music. Original compositions and jazz standards, and Latin American songs arranged for the guitar by Carlos Odria. He has done extensive research on different world music traditions and developed a unique blend of styles including flamenco, jazz, samba, Cuban, and Afro-Peruvian genres. Odria has been a featured artist at national music festivals and has performed at concert halls and universities both in the United States and Peru.

Make Music Worcester is an annual free, outdoor day of music held on the summer solstice, June 21.

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.
