The ensemble les soûls d’amour has garnered rave reviews since its 2015 debut,
performing great and lesser-known Renaissance and Baroque repertoire from across the
world. The ensemble consists of Molly Netter, soprano; Andrew Padgett, bass-baritone and
hurdy-gurdy; Alana Youssefian, baroque violin; David Ellis, viola da gamba; and Jake
Street, harpsichord and artistic direction.

The members of les soûls d’amour are fervently devoted to singing the merits of love
and a good drink with friends, and are equally comfortable in the church,
the concert hall, and the coffee shop.

les soûls d’amour explores stories written centuries ago that still resonate with us
today: of love in its trials and joys, or of the camaraderie of sharing conversation and a
drink with beloved friends.

With approaches both old and new, they seek to retell these timeless stories in ways that
connect with the modern listener and to have a great time while doing so.
