The Pastoral Search Team has been hard at work gathering information from the congregation about the type of ministerial leadership we are looking for in the next phase of our church life. In an effort to get a sense for the work style you would prefer the new minister to have, we have developed a survey for you to reflect on and complete.
The survey mirrors questions that will be present on the Pastor Profiles we will eventually get from prospective candidates. The results of this survey can be compared with work styles the potential candidates possess.
We are mailing out a handful of these surveys, but it is also available online, and a copy can be picked up at church at any time. If you’d like to have a paper copy mailed to you and you haven’t received one yet, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will make sure one is sent to you.
Follow this link to the confidential survey online: bit.ly/FBCsurvey (URL is case sensitive).
We would like these surveys completed and back in our hands by Thursday, May 14.
If you choose to fill out the paper version, you can mail it back to FBC to the attention of the Pastoral Search Team, put it in the Pastoral Search Team’s mailbox in the main office at FBC, or simply hand it to a PSTeam member: Courtney Stevens, Joe Oakley, Barbara Ward, Stephanie Gaudette, Jim Hecox, Rod Ferris, Karl Bjork, Phyllis Whitten, or Sue Gelinas.
Thank you SO MUCH for your enthusiasm! As always, if you have any questions about this survey, or anything else, please feel free to contact us in person, or through our email email@example.com.
